At B & B Loan, we treat everyone like royalty. Whether you're buying, selling, or pawning, you will always get the very best service. You will enjoy our unique atmosphere and the nostalgic feeling from our downtown pawn shop. Our reputation is second to none.

B & B Loan was established in downtown Fort Wayne in 1946 by Lloyd Amster. He hired James Gulley, a 16-year old South Side High School student, to work at the pawn shop and the two worked together until Lloyd died in 1957. James continued to work at the pawn shop, and he became a partner in ownership in 1957. In 1968, James bought out his partner, and the pawn shop has been a Gulley family owned business ever since.

James brought his son Jeff into the business in 1977. Jeff was "raised in the pawn business," and the two worked together for over 30 years. After learning the ins and outs of running a pawn shop from the ground up, Jeff took ownership in 2008 when his father, James, retired.

The company is built on the foundation of reaching out and helping those in need. The B & B Loan makes small loans to people that could not otherwise get some much needed cash. B & B Loan has been a part of the community for well over half a century. By helping people in their time of need, strong relationships have been built over the years. The B & B Loan's customers are like extended family to Jeff, and he takes great pleasure in being able to help when the need arises.

Since 1946 the traditions of B & B Loan have played a large role in the community. They take great care to ensure that every item sold is in perfect working order, and that it has a clean sales history. You won't find "suspicious" merchandise on the shelves. The B & B Loan has and will always work closely with local authorities to make sure that items purchased or in pawn are legitimate.
