Blizzard and Bottorff Families
Written in the late 1880s by Silas William Blizzard with edits made by his great granddaughter, Eleanor Clara Blizzard Black, and Introduction written by Thomas Eldon Black, Jr., son of Eleanor Blizzard Black.
Late in his life Silas William Blizzard, undertook the writing of the history of his family and the family of his wife, Rebecca Bottorff. After his death in 1918, the unpublished document likely passed to his son Austin A Blizzard and then to Austin's daughter, Ella Kate Blizzard. At some time, Eleanor Blizzard Black had access to the document and made a copy for herself. That copy passed to Thomas E. Black, Jr. in 1996.
