Final Rolls of Citizens & Freedman of the Five Civilized Tribes in the Indian Territory (Dawes Rolls)

This microfilm series of 4 films contains the names of individuals entitled to enrollment in one of the Five Civilized Tribes in Indian Territory (Oklahoma). Each entry is filed by roll number. Along with the roll number is an enrollee’s, name, age, sex, percent Indian blood and Census Card No.

The first item on film #1 is the INDEX to the roll number. Search alphabetically by name in the tribe category (by blood, minor by blood, intermarriage, infant by blood, freedman etc). Once the roll number is obtained search in the Final Rolls microfilms to obtain the name, age, sex, percent Indian blood and the Census Card No. The Census Card No. can be used to search the “Enrollment Cards of the Five Civilized Tribes 1896-1914.”
