This cemetery is located on Route 678 in McDowell, Highland County,
Virginia. The entrance is located just past the town firehouse. After entering through a gate, proceed
up the hill and the cemetery looks over the village of McDowell. This cemetery is still in use today
and appears to be in very good shape. There are a total of 119 names located on the tombstones in this
cemetery. GPS coordinates: N 038.19.978 W 079.32.615.
The cemetery was read and imaged in 2006. The database and associated images
are the copyrighted work of William E. Wilson, Jr. who generously supplied them to the Allen County Public Library
for distribution to individual genealogical researchers.
