About This Resource:
This cemetery is located on Route 678 south of Williamsville in Bath
County. The cemetery is separated by the road with 1/2 located on each side. The entire cemetery is located
on the side of a steep hill that is approximately 40 degrees grade. One side of the cemetery is uphill
and the other is downhill. There would have been no way that any equipment could have dug the graves; these
all must have been done by hand. There are a total of 177 names located on the tombstones in this cemetery and
the cemetery appears to still be in use today. GPS coordinates: N 38.10.219 W 079.35.235.
The cemetery was read and imaged in 2006. The database and associated images
are the copyrighted work of William E. Wilson, Jr. who generously supplied them to the Allen County Public Library
for distribution to individual genealogical researchers.
