Phillips, Murray S.

Murray S. Phillips, Jr., was born 15 November 1916, presumably in Hocking County, Ohio, where he lived with his parents at the time of the 1920 and 1930 federal censuses. He was the son of Murray S. Phillips, Sr., and his wife, Della (Krinn) Phillips. Murray, Jr., entered the service as a private during World War II and was killed in France. He died 20 November 1944. He is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Hocking County.
