Krinn, Daniel, 151st Ohio Infantry

Daniel Krinn was born 1 December 1843 in Hocking County, Ohio, the son of German immigrants Gottlieb Friederick and Barbara (Heims) Krinn. Daniel served 100 days as a private in Co. I, 151st Ohio Volunteer Infantry (National Guard). He married Ellen Sliger in Hocking County. They moved to Grant County, Indiana. Daniel died 5 January 1936 and was buried in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery (now called Estates of Serenity) in Marion.

They also had a son, Jonnie A. Krinn, who died as a child and is buried near Daniel and Ellen. Daniel's and Ellen's children lived primarily in Grant and Wells Counties in Indiana.
